An Act Making English the Official State Language.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to make English the official language of the state and require all governmental documents to be printed in English, provided the state motto shall continue to be in Latin.

Statement of Purpose: To establish English as the official language of the state of Connecticut.
